Hi,

Having a problem with clutch - heading for 3 months now and garage have replaced lots of part and it worked for 2 days now the problem is back. Appreciate any input/help.

Initial problem and problem again now. - Difficult to get gear - then unable to get gear - clutch pedal soft feels like its not engaging.

Garage done the following ( not lr dealer)
Replaced clutch, master cylinder and slave cylinder - garage had great difficultly bleeding or reverse bleeding clutch. Eventually got it working and it worked for two days and now the problem is exactly the same.

Purchased flywheel and clutch (island 4x4) but the garage fitting the parts say the lugs or nuts from the original part are different and that the new part news imperial size nuts to fit the clutch flywheel rather than the originals.

Appreciate any pointer please.

Thanks - Part appears to be correct ie dual mass (Clutch Kit & Flywheel 4in1 Td5 (Valeo) DA2357G)
will check the spring

The clutch on a td5 is a pig to bleed, it really wants a power bleed to do in properly!! as for the Island 4x4 4 piece clutch kit, that's the same one I used last year and the DMF went in no problems so I don't really know what your garage are on about!!!

Get it power bled and see what a difference it makes.
Good luck

Thanks garage power bleed and all working ok. Strange about the DMF alright the garage says the new part needs imperial lugs as old part has metric.
