I have a mate whom is soon going to get a slap for the following,


He has 3 swb hreg

He wants one to have a Perkins v eight cam this be done?

The other he wants gmc v eight same again can it be made to fit?

The last one is a one four three scania v eight into it can it be done.

Ps I have seen a izuzu td two . Eight advertised for sale apparently it will go straight onto a series gear box if I remember right they need conversion plates don't they?
 
there used to be a chap advertised in lroi called samurai, he used to stick 6.2 diesel chevy blocks in landies, overfinch have stuck 5.7 chevy v8's in defenders in the past iirc
 
There's a Series 3 with a Perkins V8 in it around here. Got a tractor silencer sticking up out of the top of each wing. Sounds awesome.
 
'Harry' Harrison-Smith (Nene Overland) used to run a 6.2 GMC V8 Diesel in a Ninety he towed with - I remember him turning up at my parents house to pick up some parts in it, awesome machine!
