Hi!
Having a discussion with a car interested friend. We have seen a lot of succesful and less succesful modifications to cars over the years. Rebuildt Jaguars (some guy put the bmw 4.4 in a Xj series 3), another one put a 525tds engine in the same car. And other cars, like the RRC, the Disco etc have had interesting swapes done where the engine comes from another car.
I am not asking about this because i am planning to do it. I just wondered if anyone had. We came to the conclusion that the n57tud30 engine from the X5 E53 facelift, with 218hp and a 6 speed trans could have made an interesting swap.
