Just ordering some suspension parts from island 4x4. Started off with just a pair of rear airbags but I'm now adding shock absorbers all round and a dynamic cellular steering damper.

Nothing but the airbags are failing to my knowledge, just thought I'd replace items which could possibly fail at some point and they do seem reasonable prices.

Q - Do I need to order anything else when fitting these parts like extra bushes, kits or whatever. You know things that must be changed at the same time? Or items which it would be silly not to change at the same time as these?

I have been suffering a bit of a floaty, tramlining ride so I'm hoping that replacing these and getting some new tyres on will sort it all out for a good while :)

All my tyres are at 3mm Scorpion ST's and I'm planning to either put on Wranglers or AT2's.

Thanks for the offer Dalatek, I have read through the 'simple' guides but it still looked above what i can do especially as i have no trolley jack! and knowing my luck they'll be seized or I'll break something else. I'll leave it to a professional.

I did top up the screenwash yesterday though without spilling any and fixed my rubbish AM radio reception........impressive eh?

Just got The Stogie back after having the above parts fitted and all I can say is ****ydidooo! Big transformation, especially with the steering. New damper has taken away most of the tramlining, the loose, floaty feel has gone and the steering feels more direct and weighty and great! :5bhurray:

Oh and I'll say this quietly so the car doesn't hear me.....I'm currently fault free (sshhh).
