So I fekt my horn,

Evening,

Decided to play about with my horn and buggered the contacts within the steering wheel and the copper arm in the steering column,

Wondering its its worth making my own horn,

Thinking push button switch and 2 lengths of wire & Crocodile clips,

Everything bar the switch will be concealed in the steering column plastic surround,

Basic question really hence why its in the general section,

Would it work (not knowing how much current goes through the horn but thinking not a lot )?

just put a push button in the dash.

Was thinking putting it where the head light adjustment blanking plate is (on a late d1)
