nathan 5436 Morning!
Did you read the posts re spring rates and roll bars?

What do you think?

Also saw somewhere someone had fitted spacers on the rear air shocks instead of longer normal springs etc.

Opinions please.

I havent read it no, im not the right person to ask about such mods my experience ends at fixing when its broke and driving em :D

Not a problem.

Thanks for letting me know about the ride quality. If I need to go fast around corners I have a motorcycle, if I need to go anywhere i have a Discovery.

Thinking the lift and uprated springs/shocks and roll bars is the way forward for me.

Thanks

i wouldnt bother with the anti roll bars, one of the main reasons people lift discos is to get more articulation, limiting this by fitting a bigger antiroll bar seems like spending lots of money on nothing because they cancel eachother out IMO, if you worried about bodyroll on corners then the simple anser really is not to lift the disco on coils

I had the same thought.

Having looked into it apparently the ACE dose not directly effect the shocks or springs so in theory it will still help. Im beginning to think we will be OK as long as I dont drive like a plank on the road and slow down for roundabouts etc.

Looking at medium weight springs as I still carry lots of stuff though not enough to warrant HD springs. Keep the anti roll bars and see how we go.
