Hello everyone and thanks in advance for you wisdom-I find this forum very usefull and interesting.
I have a RR 2.5 DT year 2000 with 55000 on the clock.It is an Automatic.I have been plagued with the usuall battery problems and have fitted the new RF reciever.I am still suffering battery drain.Currently I have the ariel to the RF reciever unplugged and a new battery in the car.Sometimes the wee red light on the gear selector indicator glows faintly and sometimes the red alarm light is permanently on and not flashing-When I fully charge the battery this behaves itself again.Yesterday I discovered a 20 Amp fuse on top of the battery had blown and put a new one in and prey this sorts the problem.But what is this fuse for There are actually 2 cables lying over the baTTERY BOTH WITH 20 aMP FUSES IN THEM but I can find no mention of these fuses or cables in the handbook or on the RAVE CD.Any ideas anyone.Thanks in advance
