any preferences?

i'm biting the bullet and getting the roof rack. but which one? brownchurch? rislan coated? glavanised? aluminium...tubing or solid? how many supports?

i drive a 90 CSW. i don't intend having the roof rack on permanently, so i would like to be able to attach/ remove as simply as is possible. which lends itself to those that have only 4 mounting points, but the downside with those is the amount of 'fresh air' there is instead of framework. i'm befuddled.

all opinions gladly received

I think it'll depends what your going to be using it for ,I have a huge thule for my disco biggest you can get and some times used to use the 2 roof bars you fix the thule on to the roof guttering with ,only thing with the thule you need 2 men to fix it to the roof of a disco. But there great for storing things out of the way.

thats a very good job you did there!

did you buy the tube online or from a local place?

I have to have a go and building mine.... roughly how much did it cost to make?
