I have just fitted a rocker switch in my cubby hole, where can I get a live from that won't leave wires all over the place that switch on with side lights or the ignition

If you want a switched live, it'll need to come from around the ignition. If you've got carpet you could run it under there - or down through the plate under your box and under the landy then back up again.

ps - were you expecting a switched live to just appear once you'd fitted the switch?

battery box on a fuse ....just have to remember to turn stuf off,,,
