P38A Replacing centre exhaust box

It's a while since I've posted on here...all has been well with the P38.
Centre box is blowing so I today purchased a new one. It comes with flange at either end. Had a look under car and the flange for the adjoining pipes are in very poor condition.
How do I change the flange on the front and rear section? Does anyone know what diameter the exhaust pipe is?

Yep exactly that as you can see the ends on the new centre box are flange fittings and create a compression fitting when clamped together
