repairing rear classic tailgate

hi all just after some advice as to wether or not it is possible(for an amateur) to replace the rear screen on a classic upper tailgate,as i have an alloy frame but need to fit my glass into it,obviously without anything breaking.any help appreciated

Too be honest, I'd be tempted to call some windscreen places up and see how much they'd charge to do it - I wouldn't have thought it'd be a lot as it's a simple job compared to some of the screens they work on nowadays.
