Think @tomcat59alan was somehow morse coding into the CDL manually
Good memory, think the thread was locked out, worth a search.Think @tomcat59alan was somehow morse coding into the CDL manually
Is CDL an ECU? Where would I find it?
It's not worked in several locations, so unless the p38 is the source of interference then this is ruled out
I take it you have checked you have power and ground at the RF receiver and the aerial is pluged in.Is CDL an ECU? Where would I find it?

I've not checked power/ground, but the aerial is plugged in. I'll do this at lunch if I get a moment. I dared to assume power/ground must be OK as nano stated a valid code had been received after I had cleared the RF memoryI take it you have checked you have power and ground at the RF receiver and the aerial is pluged in.

possibly, but I'm not sure if i tried the manual method since i cleared the RF memory, if that makes a difference.Great.
So do we put this 1 down to operator error

if the coil is inoperative as a byproduct of turning off engine immobilisation via nanocom?
You cannot disable the engine immobiliser. Only the passive immobiliser can be disabled. For a while, I've had to press the unlock button before the lock button would do anything, now neither button does anything! The red light flashes but that is all.
Central locking works and operates on all doors. The antenna is plugged in to the receiver so the passive coil should talk, can't see any dud fuses. Any ideas?
I had previously disabled engine immobilizer so i can still drive!
Yes, typo, that's what i meantYou cannot disable the engine immobiliser. Only the passive immobiliser can be disabled.
If the fob is working and the RF is getting a correct signal (read at the BECM or RF ? ) then why is it not outputting signal to the CDL.
So maybe some investigation into connections further along the line. from BECM to CDL.
Does Nano have a function that you can operate the CDL ? (that's a question) as I would think that would pulse through the BECM.
All just question/ideas as I don't have Nano.
