Rear wiper arm

On the door that came with my station wagon the rear wiper (fancy I know) has an arm with a wiper fitting I have no seen before. Rather than the arm being hooked to slide work as plastic clip into the end of the arm has a pin that clips to the wiper. Is this normal or has a different arm been fitted to the motor?

I managed to fit a new wiper which was the important part. But I have not tested the motor yet just didn’t want the metal arms of the old one vibrating and damaging the glass

My old one wasn’t like this either. Thankfully it took a normal wiper as they have the pin hole drilled. But not a fitting I have come across.
