Hi all took my 2001 range rover in for a scan' the dash says traction fault' but no fault code showing after scan. HERE's the problem. Starts in the morning OK! no faults! go for a drive' switch off no faults! but if left for a few mins and re started traction fault! if left for a few hours no faults. I am only guessing but sounds like something is overheating! any ideas tearing my hair out on this one. THANKS regards bob. :(

Is the battery well charged up ?
If its got a cheapo battery thats seen better days, they can throw up false errors on the dash.
Mine used to come up with abs fault if the battery got low !
Give it a good charge and see if the message goes :)
