The mechanic which has my car atm has told me that the engine symbol is: 448PN.
I will be purchasing a second hand engine for my car in next few days so have to make sure Im getting the right engine

As far as I can tell the 448PN is the AJV8 Jaguar Engine....
The 448S2 is the BMW M62TUB44 Unit with VANOS.....
Do a goooooooogle search on 448PN...as far as I can tell it is the Jag 4.4 fitted from late 2005 for the 2006 Model Year Facelift and the Disco/ RR Sport....I'm starting to dubt my mechanics skills and knowledge as he seems to know nothing about the engine and keeps giving me some false information..
