Never happened to me so that's a mystery. Are you quick off the buttons when you open up ? worth a try to hold them a bit longer.

Hi, had a similar thing, and still do. I put it down to hitting the 'off' button on my 2nd remote in some way when getting in the car. I've put a pair of plastic rings around the buttons (stuck onto the remote casing with epoxy) so that they aren't so easily operated in error.

Hi, I have noticed that I only have to press my new remote button for all to be well. Dont understand electrickery, but it works.

Hi all, mine has done it a few times as Zorro said I just put it down to hitting the button on the remote, and just press lock unlock and start the motor,
I gladly put up with it against a flat battery or £200 plus from the stealers.

If you purchase a remote "jog" switch it only has one button, press to make the circuit and release to break it.;)
