prop shaft length question for the knowledgeable out there please ?

Eve all.

My 90 was originally a 2.5td and now has a 300tdi disco engine installed, standard gearbox lt77 and discovery transfer box, and a lift kit.. either 2" or 3". I have disco axles as far as i can tell.

My thoughts are that the transfer box is in original position still in relation to the length away from the axle, so i should just have a standard TD length prop, but i'm looking for a wide angled and they just don't seem to come up.

My question therefore is.. what would fit ?? would i be looking at a 200tdi prop or a 300tdi prop, and from defender or disco !!

I hope someone can throw some useful advice my way.

What's the measurement from the front of the T/F box output flange to the Diff input flange, with the vehicle sttting on flat ground?

not sure trewey, but will measure tomorrow as am out there fitting a duel battery system. she's over at a friends workshop so can't get out there right now.

2.5 and 200 are diffrent to 300 and td5 by about 60mm carnt remember which tho

200 one is shorter by 60mm, (rear) so would gess the front was 60mm longer

I've just bought a Gwyn Lewis rear prop but not sure if it will fit my 200 as it came off a challenge truck with bits of everything from 200 and 300 so will see when it arrives.
