well it had been sat since my mrs crashed it about a month ago untouched.

Got in it, started straight up, battery was fine, no faults showing. Drove it down the lane and ....

aaahhhh bliss, sooooo comfy and quiet with a respectable turn of speed too.

Top cars!

it was tempting, then it was tempting to cut it up and put a defender shell on it.

but i cannot bring myself to do it.

instead it shall be repaired and made better :) im thinking cheshire it up!

Go full underpigeon! Nice to see a story of them working properly, on the whole I think mine is fantastic as well.

Comfy compared to a tractor or Defender perhaps - don't get me wrong I love my p38 - but after usually driving Jags and big Citroëns it feels like a donkey cart with leather seats. I think of it as a comfy Defender - which is pretty much where I'd place it.

The only bit of Cheshire you want is Nantwich, that's where Charles is, he's bound to have all the bit's you need.:)
