Hi all , I,m a complete novice to landies ; I ditched the motorbikes a couple of years ago and recently purchased a 1977 series 3. I don't mind getting my hands dirty and am currently waiting to change the output shaft oil seal and overhaul the transmission brake ; first hiccup was trying to undo the bolts from the rear prop shaft to transfer box in order to sort seal , one stubborn bolt which I am unable to get a socket properly on ahh, have ordered a socket for this job from a Landy supplier so hope this will work ,
I will no doubt be asking for advice from time to time if that's ok

If it’s a job you have never done it’s always worth voicing your concern/question about the job on here first, loads of guys with loads of knowledge.
