Hi, I have recently purchased an automatic Discovery TD3 and have already had problems, so was hoping for some advice.
2 weeks before Christmas it wouldn't turn over and start. Managed to get jump start from recovery and take to local garage.
In a nutshell it was there a week, when they attempted to remove glow plugs, breaking said glow plugs which then required an 'expert' to remove and replace. Not a small job by all accounts. Also new battery.
Drove home and numerous lights then lit up on dash, including red and amber park brake, air suspension and the rev counter did not move. Gears would not change in drive mode. I managed to get it back to the garage where they put it on diagnostic, numerous faults showed up. In the end they reset and all seemed fine.
The next day I went to start and the warning lights had appeared again with lack of gear change. It's now waiting to be returned to the garage in the new year.
Any ideas?
