Thanks I took one the other night after a quick clean to see what needs doing to tidy her up

there are a few things to look out for , assume all the belts , oil pump cover etc have been replaced, egrs blanked

u had time to clean it , lol

Had belts looking at egr delete easy to do? Needs any ecu software?

nice looking landy , assume u done the mot history / service history etc to check to see how it has been looked after and if there's anything outstanding

egr blanks are easy to do, don't need a software update as urs is before 2007

here mine , with the updated front grill , i've just got the base model

Yes it's got that so all the fails would have been sorted for mot etc, I'll order the egr kit, looks good was going to ask what grill, I'm looking at these but mine is dark blue so deciding what colour to go for

Thanx was looking at some on eBay with the newer rear lights and side repeaters

also looked at the rear lights but couldn't justify the money , lol

still got a few bits to finish on mine , originally bought it as a project so will take time ;)

Mud!!! Lots of it............ I saw a D3 go through the Mud run at Billing @gstuart you would have been cringing.....:p:p

Cheers

would i have covered my eyes then run away screaming :p:D

i don't mind getting it covered in mud, water up to the sills i'm also fine with, its only taken me 20 x years to get to this model , lol, just wish to avoid as much as possible getting the paintwork / panels ruined

don't worry when i'm able to come on a trip i wish to test it to its capabilities to see what it will do :D

plus u know ur welcome to have a test drive if u wish :)

what's the oil pump cover upgrade? Easy to do?

there have been many reports of these failing , particularly 2007 onwards , however i had mine replaced as a precaution when all my belts etc were done

not really a diy job unless ur very competent

@lynall what do u think plse, ref replacing oil pump covers, should they be replaced regardless of year
