Only just signed up but been browsing the forums since buying my first LR (Great knowledge here btw!). The old girl is a 95 Disco 1 V8, 130k kilometres, was a jap import and pretty rust free. Also seems to be taken care of and almost all the electrics work! She’s a little bit rough on the outside, but I kinda like it that way.

Anyhow, I have had her now for coming up a year and only a few minor issues. Looking forward to ‘the adventures’ of owning.

You claim that all the electrics work, now are you sure you have checked them all and not missed some? Or maybe it is just a counterfeit Land Rover from a dodgy seller on eBay or Wish?
Been watching one of your fellow countrymen on YouTube with his Land Rover odyssey, Geoffrey Croker. He's a good watch, but probably no direct tips for your Disco.

hahaha

I thought it was when I saw it for sale. Hardly a market in NZ for them. Everyone wants old toyota hiluxs instead. Certainly showed them a few things now.

I was not familiar with Geoff, but I am now.

Nothing wrong with a good Toyota, just usually nothing particularly interesting with most of them. I came from a Toyota D4D Avensis and I couldn't make the bugger die to give me an excuse to buy a new motor.
