Hi

Well I have finally managed to get hold of a nice Disco TD5 ES, X reg, 120k, FSH, just a few bits need tidying up. Will be using it as a daily drive and also green laning/off roading. Had already decided I was going down the coil route as im a big fan of old school engineering, less electrics, less to go wrong (so why did i buy an ES??)

Got a +2" lift kit, 265/75/16 tyres and a full bush kit so I know my starting point. Also own and run a 1996 Mazda RX7 race car and a BMW F800GS motorbike.

Im 27 from Nottingham however now live just south of Oxford, in the Royal Air Force and love anything with an engine that I can either drive fast, or drive places others cant!

Will get some pics up when the work has been completed and look forward to meeting some faces at Billing in a couple of weeks.

:welcome2:to the madhouse from a fello TD5 ES 2000 reg one . Before you do the coil conversion check with insurance as some company's won't insure it as it's type approved for the dicky seats, my mate had this problem.
