Can I ask a silly question, with regards to the 2 door classic had it not already been out of production for some years when this model was released? Or could you buy a "normal" 2 door softdash?

Cant be many CSK's left now! Great project!

2 door production halted in the mid/late 80's (86 or 87 I think) the CSK model was the only later 2 door model.

Yes it had, from what i understand, Land Rover had a couple of hundred 2 door bodyshells left in 'stock', so the Charles Spencer King (CSK) basically had the new stuff put in the door body, with a tweaked engine with only 200 made. a few have been broken up and rolled/destroyed and i count about 20 that have been exported. it was the quickest range rover produced at the time.

Brilliant! Yeah I read a website with alot of interesting history I had no idea they even existed until today. Fantastic machine well worth saving then... you;ll just have to find a janspeed rover v8 turbo kit now and really make it into the fastest classic!

Originality matters with this one.
Anyone want to hazard a guess on value - restored?
Got to be 5 figures and appreciating fast
