Hi there,

I'm new here, I've been running an MGB with a Rover V8 engine for some years , but it was involved in a fire, and I'm busy restoring it.

I'm having difficulty sourcing some parts, and have joined you guys in the hope that you will be able to help me on my way.

I've uploaded apic of how it was in the hope of eliciting the sympathy vote here, just hope it works !

woo and welcome. That looks like some nasty damage.

You will prolly find that Rover V8s are very acceptable around these parts. Let us know what you need.
 
When you say it was involved in a fire, has it been found guilty? You can't make those sorts of wild accusations without evidence to back it up...

Yes , I can definitely confirm...it was a fire..not just a very dirty engine bay !

One of the neighbours decided to find out what happens if you fasten several rockets together , light one, and let them off

(the answer in case you are wondering, is it goes about 3 doors away, bounces off the patio, through the back door of the garage, then explodes)

Moral, do not leave your garage back door open on Bonfire Night !

Anyway... where should I be posting my enquiry about a hotwire harness, please ?
