Hi, just joined this UK-based Land Rover forum after having spent many hours on D-90.com.
I have owned the following LR products: 1994 Disco, 95 RR LWB
Currently own: 93 NAS D110, 95 NAS D90 SW(original owner), 2003 Disco II
We really enjoy our Defenders. The D-90 currently lives at our summer house in Massachusetts, where she is garaged about 1 mile from the ocean. After many,many hours and meticulously paying attention to potential corrosion, she is about as good as when she left Solihull.
We just bought the 93 110. fFter taking delivery and crawling all around, discovered quite a bit of bulkhead/footwell corrosion. Currently, the 110 has the entire interior out, footwells being welded in place this week, a rebuilt and repainted seat box ready to go in, floor panels stripped/repainted, external NAS roll cage removed so I can replace the tub and windshield surround seals, etc. I expect to have her drivable in about 3-4 weeks.
