Hi all,

Went to change my battery and the screw on for the negative connect that hold it onto the battery got lost down my car.

Looks like this http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic85417.html

But for a td5.

Tried to take the headlight off and the head snapped off the bolt. Does anyone know where I can buy one as I need it by Friday as I'm driving some mates to France to work at a refugee charity so they are relying on me. Need next day delivery!!!

As the guy says in the article, use a M6 bolt and some washers. Failing that get it from Paddocks. They got me a PAS pump on pre 12pm delivery next day and I was also going to Europe that afternoon. Touch and go but we got there.

Do you know what the part is called?

If in doubt, or trouble, bodge it with Duct tape and/or cable ties and fix it properly when you return. This is a serious reply not a **** take. My disco 300tdi headlamp was held in place with Duct Tape for several months before I got round to fixing it properly!

EDIT Oops, just looked at the link you have posted. Thought you were struggling with the headlamp not the battery. Got to be a bolt and washers for that.
