Muffled stereo sound L322

My L322 is really not behaving these days. In addition to air susp trouble and no heat I now have a ****ty stereo.

Went out to start the car today. On my way to work there came a small crackling sound and the sound became terrible. I only have sound from one speaker (left front) and its really muffled. Stopped the car, turned it of and on again. When the radio comes on, there is a small crack-sound (like the amp shutting of) and the muffled poor sound ensues.

Its the same on cd as well. I have DSP in the display.

Check the rear corner for leaks into the amps and equipment there...then check the connections for corrosion etc.

Working again now. I started the car and first it worked for 2 min. Stopped at a gas station. Got back in, started up, worked for 5 min, then back to muffled sound but audio from all speakers. Stopped for an hour. Got back in. Working fine now.

Will check wiring this afternoon and check the battery.
