I would certainly tackle a sill replacement job with it, chassis I would have to think hard about, power output and weld quality, both my amatuer technique and the machine would worry me,
But at the price I am still playing writing my name on scrap, welding bits together for no reason at all etc.
I have replaced the diy gas bottle (£12 for about 15 mins of welding) with a proper size CO2 bottle, about £1 for 15 mins, a must with all welders, not just cheap ones, so play time is not so expensive,
anything up to about 4 mm is no problem at the moment, maybe with more experience thicker section could be dealt with
For a DIY welder (as long as you accept that.) I can't fault it, yes there are better, stronger, heavier duty better made ones, but not at this price or with a 3 year guarantee from a major supermarket. which they honour.
