LPG in Lancashire

Hi,

I am looking at getting my 1997 4.0 V8 SE into an lpg specialist to get it serviced

It's a single point system is as much as I know about it and that is running a bit rough at low revs

I have found these 2 companies

LPG Conversions Preston (Adlington)
LPG Gas Conversions Lancashire & Blackpool (Blackpool)

Can anyone recommend one over the other (pm me if you like) or recommend somewhere else in Lancashire

Previous owner of my 4.6 used them & sang their praises

My 4.6 was running rough and people suggested that I get the trims reset!

After a bit of searching the web I found out what this involved and bought some software and a set of cables that cover pretty much all LPG systems that are found in the UK.

I plugged in the cable to the car and ran the software on a laptop, there is an auto calibrate function which reset the trims for me and tweaked the LPG ECU.

It has run very nicely ever since.
