Hi guys went to Andy White in Edinburgh he fitted the repalcement mudflap bracket without welding, and fitted a new ignition lock for me for £50 in an hour and a half which I think is pretty good. He managed to undo the bolts on what was left of the mudflap bracket.
Thanks guys for all your help I will bear in the mind the guy in Lauder as my Father lives down that way.
