Coolant is pouring out from around the bottom-most belt wheel on freelander 1.8 petrol 2001.

Empties water tank in seconds. Any advice, including crushing, most welcomed!

Water pump, thermostat housing, coolant rail O rings or hoses. You need to get under there to look. ;)

Took belly pan off and it definitely looks to be coming out of engine block at the bottom fan belt wheel.

A picture of where it's leaking from would be helpful, but it's most likely the water pump seal has failed. I suspect it wasn't changed when the timing belt was replaced last time.

That'll be the water pump leaking. Cheap to get a replacement, but as it's driven by the timing belt, the timing belt and tensioner will need changing too.
