I got this message this morning and after fitting new pads it's still there:mad: Can anyone confirm that a "plug-in" is required to clear this? If so Rovacom SV here I come! Comments welcomed from anyone who has this system,

Yes, if a pad sensor has worn through even after replacing it the message centre warning will not go away. The fault is logged under "Vehicle exterior Lighting" along with loads of other faults that always seem to be present.
10 mins on Testbook tops is all it takes.
Where are you - someone on here may be able to suggest a friendly local who could clear it for you,£20 ought to do it.

Hi eightinavee, I'm in N Ireland. Do I need to replace the wear sensor? I just swapped it over to the new pads. I don't know of anyone local with more than simple diagnostics, hence time for Rovacom! It's better than main dealer at £95 just to plug it in!

No need for t4, replace the sensor and cycle the ignition till it clears, usually about 25 times. Ign. on for a few seconds then off for a few, keep doing that and the message will dissapear.

Wont cost you anything bar the sensor.
