2001 TD5 es, Recently on start up both my heated windscreen and rear window heaters come on, both buttons have the lights on and aint pushed um?

Is it coz it knows its cold outside, it was 5 deg this morning and both came on.

Am I alone ?

No

It is because you have turned the demist function on on the heater control
