Hi again, anybody here know how to remove just this wooden trim at the bottom of th doors? I can't find anything on how to do this particular bit, and I'd rather not take the whole door panel off. Cheers!

Hi Mach, was actually going to spray paint all of the grey parts and the wooden trim parts to in a high gloss black colour. I have a friend who spray paints trains who's willing to do it for free as long as I sand and prime all the parts before hand

Hey Doc, oh wow that's really nice of him ! It will be looking great, think I may wrap my wooden trim and around the window switches :) Let me know how you get on and take pics, would love to see the final look :) Regards H

Mach, I'll be more than happy to do that. Wammers I'd normally agree with you, especially if it was a nice dark walnut wood. However that cherry wood truly is horrendous, it looks so cheap and nasty. I have to bleach my eyes every time I sit in the car just to clean the image from my irises.

heheh It docent look that bad XD But I look forward to seeing the results & cuddos to having the same coolant as me good old Amazon special XD

You sure it's not plastic imitation wood?

Datatek, it's like a thin veneer of wood (the kind that Ikea would use to cover their chipboard made wardrobes in and advertise it is as 'oak', that nasty stuff you can peel off if that makes sense) which is coated in a thinish layer of clear plastic over the top.

It's real wood with a Satin lacquer so it "looks cheap"
Personally the stuff in the P38 looks Títs out of 10 thanks to a proper lacquer being used..
You can buy coloured panels of the Bay of E...

Sell the wooden bits to recoup your wánkaccount.,
