Hi Guys

I have finally fulfilled my life long dream of buying a RRC. This is my first Land Rover, and I pick it up on Friday. (My parents did have a Safari when I was young, and I think that planted the seed).

The car is in good general condition, and I am looking forward to bringing it fully back to as new condition.

I am looking forward to contributing to the forum, and I have already used the Wanted part which is very useful.

My other cars are a 2009 BMW 123D, a 1997 Jaguar Sovereign 4.0 LWB and a 1991 VW Mk2 Golf GTI 16v, and I am happy to answer any queries you have about those models.

Cheers!

Hi Guys

I just picked it up tonight and I love it! Here are some pics.

There isn't too much needing done to it (fingers crossed!). First job is to remove the V8 badges and reinstate the orange side repeaters. I wasn't sure about the privacy glass, but it looks OK in the flesh:

Many thanks guys! It's a Brookland kit (I was told) with Brooklands wheels.

It's started snowing here - right - off for a drive!

Very nice! Do you mind me asking how much you paid for it and how many miles its done? Any interior pics?

Hi Guys

A quick update, I have just got the car back from the paint shop after having the bonnet sprayed and few other bits and bobs.

With the V8 badges removed and original side repeaters put back on. Need to get those balancing weights put on the inside of the wheels, though :)

And with the fresh bonnet, awaiting fitment of a new bonnet badge.

I quite like the debadged look, though. It is nice and uncluttered:
