Hi all.....Posting this on behalf of a friend. He is completely locked out. Fob or key wont unlock the drivers door/doors. I reckon the battery is dead. How does he get in other than bursting the drivers door lock. Can't change battery until he gets in to release the bonnet or is there another way?

Thanks all.

Thanks all for the replies.....I think it is deadlocked myself to which the solution is??????????

I will inform him of the battery charging suggestions. Sounds like great fun getting access to that. My suspicion is the battery is dead but should the charger connected this way give power to the central locking in order to release the other locks to allow access?

Thanks again all.

Give the charger time to bring the battery voltage up and all should work but you may need the EKA code and you may also have to re-sync the key FOB.

Okay, I will pass that on to him. If it is superlocked, are we talking hammer and long screwdriver????? As ever, thank you all for the excellent assistance...
If you cant get a recharge to it, its that or a brick!!
Someone in the know should look into doing a kit to add "emergency bonnet pull" from the out side
id buy one!!

That said my mate locked his keys in once with the engine running and went to brick it! First throw he hit the door pillar! Second throw he hit the door itself! Third throw somone else did and broke the window but car was now covered in dents!
Morral of the story the screwdriver probably a better idea unless your a good shot lol

Send me a PM and I will advise how you can get in after charging the battery without breaking things.

There's a way in, requires power from the cars own battery though, I've helped another member here getting in that way without damaging anything.

But do try key first once charged.
