P38A Hello

Hi all!

I will be collecting ´my´ P38 this week! Quite pricey, but I need an LHD one! I have been looking for one for perhaps 3 years now. Most that I saw were very high mileage, badly worn or neglected. I have come across one that has just 49,000km! I will post some pictures up once I collect.

I hope it will be relatively reliable and toruble free.

Dream on. You may get it to the point where it is reliable. For example, the airsprings have a design life of 7/8 years, if they are original, despite the low mileage, they will most likely need replacing. If the have been leaking, the compressor may also be weak.
Once you get through all the initial problems, they can be pretty reliable but never without little niggles.
