Heavac problems.

This is a strange one. When I turn on the ignition on my P38 2.5ltr diesel and am waiting for the glow plugs to warm, all functions on the Heavac unit work fine. Air Con, Blower, Temp settings etc. However, as soon as the engine is started, the unit blacks out and none of the functions work. The unit also works fine when the ignition is on position II . :doh::doh:. Any ideas???.

Bad earth? Check the voltage on the battery with the engine running just in case your alternator is doing something stupid

Cheers for that, I will give it a try. Hopefully that is the problem, I was dreading having to buy and fit a new Heavac unit!!!
