Checking for airlocks is the first thing to do as it dosn't involve spending money:).Another possibility is that the heater matrix is partially bocked or restricted so your not getting as much heat in the heaterbox to maintain constant warmth.

I think you've answered your own question there,I had the same problem with a radiator sealer blocking a heater matrix myself,it was a vauxhall cavalier but the principle is the same.

Feck it , at least it wont leak now lol.

I can live with the heater on low speed as it its too damn noisy on high anyway. I think that RR vent system/controls with A/C are the most over complicated under effective I have ever had on a car!

well you guys fight it out and let me know:D

One thing though , I put most of the k seal in the expansion tank which your 75 probably didnt have? which would mean most of it wouldnt get round untill the stat had opened?

Yes fett the 75 had an expansion tank, thats I where put the sealer and it still ended up in the heater, ssmn1234 dont tell everyone yours has a water valve or ever body will want one.

Looks like its heater out and fit new matrix time fett, if engine is up to temp its only for it or buy yourself some thermals! had to fit new matrix to my last classic then year later had it out again cos flaps inside fell apart.

That'll be right, bloody experimenting on us Aussies again.
