Heater problem

Hello i have a 2001 td4 freelande se. when my engine is hot enough i turn on the heater (but not the ac just the heater) it blows very hot to my feet and to the front window when i select those places . however when choose the blow to my face the same hot air turns into a normal air not hot not cold. What is the problem. Howcome it blows very hot to my feet but not hot to my face?:S:S :doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:

could be the flaps are not moving correctly. . . . .

air comes very fast But not hot :S

My L series does this but sometimes it does blow hottish air through the centre vents. It takes forever and a day for the engine to warm up, then even longer to actually warm the cabin... Does seem better after using the recycler for a while. Bloody thing..

What's all this talk of dodgy flaps?

My v6 will start to blow hot air towards the windscreen, but if I select air towards me, or the floor, then it's cool. Does this until it's all warmed up, then it's hot on every option, with control 50% in to the red heat line.
