Me too! Just hammered it flat and trimmed the top down abit. Did you lock them into the tub top lips? I did and it's held bloody solid now!

Ben, yeh they fit on the arch fine, slight overhang when they are down, but they fold up right out of the way. HTH!

The cushions on mine are 84 cms wide, but are the fold up type, also available from Paddocks. I'm not sure if those posted by the OP are exactly the same.

One bit of advice I would offer is make sure they fold up out of the way when not in use, some don't, and you'll quickly damage your cushions if they're the fixed type, and reduce your storage capacity.

Yep same, mne is 85.5cm long. this one folds away nicely, take the cushion off and slide it down the back then fold the base up.

ahh annoying! went for its first run today. dont think it is overly comfy! my mate in the back gave up and rolled out a camping mat i had in there and went to sleep on the floor!

hahaha so ive heared. when i have people in the back (specialy my dad) speedbumps at 30mph are alwasye a joy in the headlights haha

Take them for a 10mile drive over a few potholes whilst sat on the wheel arches. They will then find the seats comfortable

Seriously though, I think the seat base is not deep enough for larger adults (typical large men!)to be comfortable for long journeys. However, my wife (4'11"),daughter and friends don't have a problem, although they do moan about the lack of arm rests!

I have pointed out it's a Land Rover and nobody has arm rests,unless you include the driver's window ledge.

i just put them on the wheel arch haha, i have no room for benches

i built the box a little too big. looks like im gunna have to go for the fold down single seats. its that or just take the box out

i might just order one of the benches an see if theres anything i can do to make it fit. decisions! decisions!

hahahaha theres a speed bump in my estate that mays well be a stack of breez block instead. i hit that hard every time haha. ive whitnesed free floating people in my rearview mirror countless times hahaha

Haha so we can legally take 8 or however many people it it before you need a minibus license? The lads in the back didn't take to my 30mph round about techniques! Haha a few complaints!
