Forums like this are great for help when bits of your freelander fall off/stop working etc, and most threads seem to be all doom and gloom.
Without tempting fate or rubbing salt into wounds of unlucky owners out there, I love my freelander and runs perfectly everytime. She's ace off-road, and I have caught the bug with regards to taking her down some tricky lanes in the area.
HOWEVER... having caught the bug and taken her off road, I have bought some steel wheels with the view to fitting them with A/T tyres so I won't wreck the alloys and road tyres any more than I already have.
Having tried to fit the steel wheels and researched them, I understand that pre-2000 stealies are different to newer ones in that the hub changed around this date. Having picked up the wheels today and being assured by the dealership I bought them from off e-bay (£25, bargain), they dont seem to sit right on the rear hubs. Have I got the old ones? I did take a few phots but my phone is refusing to connect to my laptop to upload them.
Any help greatly appreciated
