H7 12V 55W Philips Blue Vision

I was considering buying 4 (2 low, 2 high beam) H7 12V 55W Philips Blue Vision bulbs for me '04 freelander. Are these ok or do they risk melting my lens (4000K Colour Temperature...) ? forget it, they dont make any difference, if they did, they'd be higher wattage.

i bought the halfords super brights when they were 2 for 1 on offer,really big differance from the standard,very happy with them,

I replaced mine last year with some off fleebay and they work OK

thanks tedshred, but ill probably fit halogen lamp that give off the xenon light effect, rather than actually putting a xenon lamp because, well orginally the lamps weren't designed for xenons and would look a bit too ambitious for me...

Tiny has the Halfords "rally" main bulbs and they make a huge difference on full beam...like having some extra spots fitted. Normal driving gives off a nice crisp white light.
