Hhaaaa.. right!
i was hoping the shafts were the same length and only the bell housings were different, so i could use a gearbox off a disco and just swap bell housings... damn it!
nothing is ever easy!

Just read this on Ashcrofts website... quite good, exactly how you explained, but with the videos, can cleary see the difference on shafts lenght..
as they say, "an image is worth a thousand words" (or something like that)
