Fuel tank pipe replacements?

Hi all,
Planning to change my in tank fuel pump on the weekend. Would like to replace the pipes at the same time if possible. These are the pipes that come off the fuel pump assembly and go wherever they go.

2.5 DSE auto 1996 if that makes any difference

Does anyone know where I can buy these, and roughly how much they are?

ESR2959 £69.10. ESR2962 £69.52. Go to quick connectors along chassis. Are you still sure you want to change them?

It was the first job I ever did on my 97 2.5 DSE 4 yrs ago when I broke the connector at the fuel filter. I got it from a guy somewhere in Wales ( I will have the receipt somewhere but it could be time consuming to find it) : if there is no problem with your pipes there really is no need to change them. I can see how you would think that you might as well renew the system but unless you are aware of a specific problem I would leave it. Run an oily cloth along the pipes and they'll look good as new !

He means brake pipe
there's a pipe that goes over the tank that cant be seen for mot so usualy its badly rotten. always worth checking when the tank is droped.
mine bust on the motorway about a month ago and its an experience I would rather not have had.
 
Cheers for that wammers. Don't really want to spend that much on a fuel line!!

Was just hoping to have some contingency ready for if I run into the same problem as TAKdriver!

Thanks for that mate, I cannot blame predictive text. Just a slip of the finger, that's got me into a lot of trouble in my life.:D:D:D

Could they be Foundry 4x4 Tredegar Gwent? They are on line if necessary. You will probably need new olives and nuts for the pump ends of the pipes, mine were well rusted:)
 
Tried dropping the tank today but can't jack the car up without it rolling off as my drive is on a slope! Wanted to put it in my garage but some clever person put an RX8 there which needs some work before it will start! So I planned to push rx8 out, but p38 was in the way and now very hard to start and keeps cutting out - lots of foam and large air bubbles in fuel lines so I think it's nearly out of diesel.

Anyone want to come cut my boot floor for me?!

A dremil with a cutting disk will do it they are cheap enough its only about 4mm thick just don't go any deeper.

Do you think if I dropped the tank a few inches I could get to the brake pipe? Current thoughts are get the pump done using boot floor method so I can take it to my dads house where it's flatter and I can jack the car up better

Does this mean you were working under the car without it being adequately supported under the chassis???

Never work under any Air Suspension vehicle without first supporting the chassis, if a bag was to pop/leak and the vehicle drops, it would be a bad day for your wife/husband/partner/parents/siblings/offspring et al to find you pinned and potentially dead under your Range Rover....

Never ever work under an air suspended vehicle without chassis support.

Don't think so mate ,its a tw*t of a job with the tank in place. I did the two flexi's whilst I was at it:D

Unfortunately, or possibly fortunately in this case, the car is currently on springs, which I hope to change soon. Didn't get as far as being under the car because every time I jacked the back up it rolled off. Will bear it in mind though when it's back on air. Thank you for your concern

Depending on the degree of the slope you could of put it in park/ gear combine with the use of blocks;)
