hello there I was hoping someone might be able to help me

I recently purchased my first Landrover Freelander 2.5 v6 Automatic Premium Sport edition. It’s fully loaded.

Slight issue is the folding mirrors. Once the button is pressed I can hear the motor working trying to bring them in but they won’t come in. Also both are realy wobbly and was wondering what the issue could be. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hello. I have not done anything to the vcu yet however I would of thought that would have nothing to do with it. Correct me if I’m wrong

What is the owut if u don’t mind me asking lol

not having a VCU may well invalidate your insurance, It will certainly mean it was sold "not fit for purpose!
The OWUT is the One Wheel Up Test. Critical to the longevity of your car, as is fitting the least worn tyres on to the rear. Search and ye shall find.

Neither has anything to do with the mirrors, but imperative to you enjoying your motor.

Nice spec. I'd have one of those myself, if I could afford the V6s thirst.

Either the mirrors need to be moved back to there locked position, or the locks are worn out, which means new mirrors.

Thanks for the info. Looks like the locks are worn. Purchased a new pair for £100. Hope it’s not hard putting them on
