Freeland 2 Radio replacement Invalid VIN

Hi, Just joined, I have had a Discovery 1 and 2 absolutely brilliant. I now own a Freelander 2 2007, love it as perfect for what i need now. I have just replaced the radio with a like for like purchased from ebay but it now comes is up with "Invalid VIN System Shut Down" anyone have any ideas how to overcome this please.
