Right for anyone, who's fitted spring spacers to their disco.

How did you get the front shocks mounted?? Did the shock fit thru the centre hole on the spacer?? Or did the kit come with a large "Washer" type plate with 3 holes drilled in it??

The reason I ask is I bought a set off ebay and had to make my own "washer" as the hole in the spacer was too small for the shock body to fit thru.

I've left bad feedback for the seller and he's spat his dummy and is claiming. that I'm in the wrong  Even had a msg off him saying he wouldn't tell me how to fit them properly unless I removed me bad feedback

So how did you fit your front shock, bottom mounting???

small hole ,which is 20mm sits at top , so shock thread fits through.. big hole at bottom so you can get a bush and nut on ... big hole 50 55mm. as above ^^^ correct...

the problem was the shock wouldnt go through the spacer on the front spacer so we had to make a 4mm round plate to sit on top of spacer with hole in middle to accomadate the shock and bushes with bolt holes each side , thus the kit never came with a washer to allow for this ..................................

**** spacers then , ya shouldnt have to **** about ....

I fitted these the centre hole is about 40mm all the way thru. So no way to attach Shock http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330575513938?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

Had to cut a disc out of 4mm steel to fit inside the recess on the spring plate and drill 3 holes then put spring on plate slide shock inside spring then bolt shock to made up plate and insert spring/shock/platein position and lift high enough to get spacers underneath. then joggle it all until the bolt holes lined up. then drop mounting bolts down. and fit nuts.
