, that chassis dont look that bad from the pics , shame about the bulkhead tho , but still nice one
, that chassis dont look that bad from the pics , shame about the bulkhead tho , but still nice one The front of the chassis and the rear are not too bad (had a new rear crossmember at some point in it's life) but the middle is bad put a screwdriver through it in some places under where the seat box goes. Got plans for a galv one anyways so not too fussed about the rust

Usually people who pick up "project" 90s, is people who are short of cash but want a 90 and plan on slowly, as the money permits, rebuild it back to operational state...
but you seem to have loads of cash straight away, splashing on 400quid doors and a galv chassi when yours is not too bad...
why didnt you buy a 90 that was in better condition? or did you only pay 500quid for yours?

So after a long time of not posting as having not made any progress on the defender I have finally started rebuilding on a galvanised chassis.
